MMDS | MODEL AML MBTX-400

The AML Wireless MBTX-400 Transmitter series delivers multiple channels to rural regions, small communities, MDU’s and areas with limited infrastructure in place. This system offers the opportunity to grow as it can be expanded in terms of power & number of channels. Signal delivery for 62 miles radial coverage at 35 dB C/N digital threshold can be achieved. The transmitters are compatible with all popular encoding systems and standard downconverter receiver/decoder equipment can be interfaced directly with existing distribution systems.

TRANSMITTER DESCRIPTION

The AML Wireless MBTX-400 Broadband Transmitter is a VHF-MMDS upconverter which translates the VHF input frequency band of 222 to 408 MHz to the band of 2500 to 2686 MHz. The upconverted signals are amplified by a solid-state amplifier. Total output power is equal to 16 Watts ( 42 dBm).

The MBTX-400 front panel displays indicate system performance.

The AML MBTX-400 has excellent phase noise performance with low magnitude and phase error contribution making the transmitter ready for digital video transmission.

All AML Wireless MMDS Indoor Broadband Transmitters have FCC Type Acceptance Approval (Dec./97)
