| Outdoor Broadband Repeater
The outdoor
compact repeater is used for redirecting or bending microwave signals
around path obstructions. The repeater is a linear microwave amplifiers
used to retransmit microwave signals without changing their frequencies.
The repeater has a secondary use of extending the length of a microwave
path or retransmitting from an already established AML receive station.
An active repeater may also be used to implement two tandem links
when a direct path proves slightly longer than practical, or when tower
heights at the end stations are limited.
Elimination of transmission lines is possible because the repeater
is tower mountable.
